Xiaomi Mi 4 to launch in India on January 28

Xiaomi has announced that it will be launching its last year's flagship device - the Mi 4 - in India on January 28. Unfortunately, no price was mentioned but we will update you on that as soon as that information is available.

The Mi 4 has a 5.0-inch 1920x1080 display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 16/64GB memory, 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, 3,080mAh battery and MIUI 5.0 based on Android KitKat.

The Xiaomi Mi4 spec-wise isn’t *that* different from the Mi3, but the build quality is miles apart. Firstly, the phone looks like an iPhone 5 from many angles, but it also maintains an iPhone-like build quality, thanks to the stainless steel band that wraps the phone. Then there are the chamfered edges. Another good thing about the Mi4 is that the phone is physically smaller than the Mi3, therefore making it easier to hold. The Xiaomi Mi4 has a 5 inch display with a 1920x1080 resolution with a pixel density of 441PPI. The device has a 13 megapixel primary camera which has a focus time of 0.3 seconds, this ensures that you get well focused images even in burst mode. The camera is capable of shooting in 4K resolution and has dual LED flash. The front facing camera is an 8 megapixel wide angle sensor, this should help clicking group selfies.

The processor on the phone is a Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5 Ghz with the Adreno 330 GPU handling the graphics department. The processor and graphic chip combo is the best combo currently in the market.

To make sure nothing holds the phone back, it has 3GB of RAM onboard. The device runs MIUI on top of Android 4.4.3 Kitkat.

The Mi4 has changeable back covers and there are lots of textures including wood, fabric etc. to choose from. The battery is non-removable with a adequate capacity of 3080 mAh.
